Ahoy New York’s Prime NYC Foodie Picks: Reader’s Choice Contest
Ahoy New York is always on the lookout for new, fun places to eat in New York City and we would love for YOU to share YOUR recommendations with us. We need your help and we also wanted a way to thank you as our devoted readers. Starting today, 12/2/13 we are running a contest called Prime NYC Foodie Picks!
We ask that in the comment section of this blog post you share with us your recommendations. The contest will conclude on December 23, 2013.
We will be looking for recommendations in the following categories:
- The Best Pizza in New York City
- The Best Food Trucks in New York City
- The Best Local Favorites and Neighborhood Hotspots in New York City
Specifically to enter the contest, select one of the three categories listed above and share a blurb in the comment section on what makes your restaurant, shop, food truck, etc. special and one or two dishes that you recommend.
Please be sure to include what categories your pick falls under (i.e. food truck, pizza, local favorite) and also be sure to include your email address so that we can contact the winners (your e-mail will not be shared).
Lastly, please end your comment on how you would like to be identified (i.e. first name, alias) for when we share all recommendations with our readers in our January blog posts. Please note that your comment will be reviewed by us before it appears online.

We are always on the lookout for The Treats Truck. There have a number of tempting snacks but their brownies and chocolate chip cookies are especially scrumptious and incredibly tasty.

We will at random select two readers who have shared with us one or more recommendations and they will each win one ticket to our NYC food tour of Little Italy and Chinatown. There are no losers here as everyone who participates will be e-mailed an exclusive discount code to our tour!
Some further details: To be considered as a contestant you will have commented on at least one category and you may enter once for each category (total of three entries per person). We will put the names of all participants in a spreadsheet and select two winners via http://www.random.org/. We will notify the winners on December 30.
Be on the lookout for Ahoy New York’s Prime NYC Foodie Picks: Reader’s Choice blog posts that we will post throughout January 2014, they will include all the entries and some of our picks as well. We think that this is going to a lot of fun and will be a great resource for locals, travelers and foodies alike!
