My son and I had a great time! Maryana was awesome! Her enthusiasm was infectious and she balanced history, culture, and food talk perfectly. Loved exploring a part of the city we weren't familiar with. Found spots we'll definitely return to, and really enjoyed every delicious thing we ate! Go hungry! We will definitely do another one next time we're back in NYC, what a great way to spend a morning!
– Carole R. | TripAdvisorIt was cold but we had on cold weather clothes. Not that much walking over 3 hours. Maybe one half mile. Mary Ana was excellent. She talked about the food but talked even more about history. Our group had 7 people, food stops were good. Just a very enjoyable and learning experience.
– Eugene P. | TripAdvisorZoe was a very personable and knowledgeable guide! Our small group made it extremely easy to hear and learn as she shared through pictures and dialogue. There were MANY good tastings that gave us a wonderful selection of various Chinatown and Little Italy restaurants. Very pleasant and informative tour!!!
– Pam M. | TripAdvisorWe had an unforgettable cultural and food journey to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday. We had a private tour led by Liz. She was great with the kids and adults. She shared some NYC history, but also kept it light so the teens didn't get bored. We tried a dessert I never knew existed (I won't ruin the surprise), but can't live without now. Thanks Liz for the great day and Alana for helping us plan!
– Deb W. | TripAdvisorHad a lot of fun on the walking tour through Little Italy and Chinatown. 6 stops and each one had some good eats. You will not leave hungry! Liz was our guide and she was excellent - one of the best parts was the history she shared of the area. I had a group that ranged from ages 10 to 70 and we all agreed it was one of the highlights of the trip.
– Mario C. | TripAdvisorOur guide Liz was wonderful, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. We loved learning the history of Mulberry street and the surrounding area. The food and places we visited were wonderful and really diverse.
– Albert D. | TripAdvisorWe took this tour in April 2019 with Liz as our guide and I can't imagine how our experience could have been better. The tour took us through the diverse restaurants that’s populate the Mulberry Street. Not only did we get to taste our way through them, but we also learned about the history of what made each neighborhood unique and we visited areas that I never would have dreamed of visiting without a local's perspective. We saw a part of NYC that I don't know if I ever would have experienced without this tour. Honestly, I wasn't looking forward to the tour - it was my husband's pick and I'm not an adventurous eater so I was more than a little worried about what we would try. I didn't need to worry whatsoever, Liz explained each dish and everything was great. It was fun, educational, and super filling - we will definitely be doing another tour in the future!
