There are a lot of great options for tabletop grilling and hotpot in Chinatown but our favorite has to be 99 Favor Taste. For $24, you can get all you care to eat hotpot, for $27, you can get all you can eat BBQ, and for only $33, you can get both. There are a ton of yummy meats, seafood and vegetables to choose from.

Hometown Hotpot is close to 99 Favor Taste and we find this restaurant to be more comfortable and less hectic. Hotpot here is $28, BBQ is $31 and both are $37. We especially recommend this place for hotpot. There are 8 different broths to choose and some favorites including the classic chicken broth, Chinese herbal broth, curry and kimchi. We definitely recommend getting the trio broth option so you can cook with a variety of flavors!

Koreatown also has a bunch of top notch tabletop grilling and hotpot restaurants and our favorite in this neighborhood is Miss Korea BBQ. Everything here is always super fresh and we love all the bold Korean flavors.

Gyu-Kaku – 321 W 44th St #103 & Other Locations

Gyu Kaku Kobe Beef

Gyu-Kaku is a great restaurant to dine with friends and with large groups. There are so many delicious marinated meats you can choose from and they also have a lot of scrumptious appetizers too. Look out for their happy hour and lunch specials.

IchiUmi – 6 E 32nd St

IchiUmi is our favorite buffet in New York City. They offer tons of sushi, Japanese dishes and hotpot. We love that you can grab whatever you want for hotpot at the buffet. You just have to say you want to do hotpot when you are seated.

Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot – 105 Bowery

Finally Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot is another hotpot option in Chinatown and it offers a Mongolian twist. They claim their broth is so flavorful you don’t need any dipping sauces for their meats and we agree! The lamb here is a must.
