The 8 Best Restaurants in Chinatown That Are Open for Take Out in NYC

Two Bridges Diner Moussaka

We are so happy to see more and more restaurants in Chinatown, NYC that are reopening for business. Here are the 8 best restaurants in Chinatown that are open for take out right now. As you can see there is a wide range of yummy foods you can get and we encourage everyone to support all these small businesses!

Tonii’s Fresh Rice Noodle – 83 Bayard St

Tonii Sponge Cake

Tonii’s Fresh Rice Noodle has been one of the few restaurants in Chinatown that have been open for the last 2 months. So it has been one of our go tos for lunch and yummy snacks. We highly recommend their delicious rice noodle rolls (we love it with shrimp) and sponge cakes that come in a bunch of fun flavors.

Two Bridge’s Diner – 89 B Canal St

Two Bridges Diner Chicken Parm

Two Bridge’s Diner has been one of our favorite lunch spots in Chinatown and it is another spot that never closed. They have all the diner classics like bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches, salads, chicken souvlaki and more! You can get a ton of food here for less than $12.

Nom Wah Tea Parlor – 13 Doyers St

Nom Wah Stuffed Bean Curd

One of the many things that we missed is dim sum and Nom Wah, the historic dim sum parlor on Doyers Streets is now open! They have a smaller menu right now but it has all of our favorite dim sum dishes like siu mai, shrimp dumplings and steamed bean curd skin rolls.

Joe Shanghai – 46 Bowery

We love Shanghai noodles, Shanghai soup dumplings, and Joe Shanghai-probably the most popular Shanghai restaurant in Chinatown- is open again for takeout. Shanghai 21 (21 Mott St) is also open.

West New Malaysia – 46-48 Bowery

Roti Canai

Close to Joe Shanghai, hidden in an alley, there is also West New Malaysia. Their Hainanese chicken, Peking pork chop and roti canai are all top notch.

Luna Pizza – 225 Park Row

Luna Pizza Mushroom Pie

If you are craving some pizza right about now (like us) then you have to check out Luna Pizza. This is one of our favorite pizzerias in the neighborhood and in addition to pizzas, they have a yummy seafood salad and chicken parmigiana.

Ajisen Ramen – 14 Mott St

Ajisen Ramen Deluxe Ramen

Ajisen Ramen has a smaller menu available for takeout right now but you can still get their scrumptious ramens along with some appetizers like their seaweed salad.

Nyonya – 199 Grand St

Nyonya Clay Pot Noodles

Finally like West New Malaysia, Nyonya features delicious Malaysian dishes and it is a great option for dinner! You definitely have to try their chicken wings, shrimp puffs and clay pot noodles.
