Becco… an Italian delight!

To celebrate Ahoy New York Tours and Tasting’s two year anniversary I went out to Becco to have an amazing dinner!

I ordered their all you can eat pasta special (which comes with a tasty salad) and let me tell you this FRESH pasta was AMAZING. The selection that evening was: fresh fettucini with crab meat, ziti with a spicy marinara sauce and lastly a ravioli in a sage and butter sauce which if you love butter you’ll love this! (Paula Deen would be proud). I ate each helping and then a second helping of the ravioli 🙂

You can’t beat the price… $22.95!! Another tid bit– their enormous wine list is offered to you at $25.00 a bottle, unheard of in NYC.

My advice for the dessert— Italian Ricotta Cheesecake. I instantly smiled when I put this in my mouth!  It had fresh strawberries and it was served slightly warm.

The restaurant was founded by Mario Batali and Lidia Bastianich and is located in the Theatre district (restaurant row). Go and enjoy and you will not be sorry!
