New Restaurants and Bars to Try

Dead Rabbit Bar

There are always new restaurants and bars opening all over New York City. We love unagi, a Japanese eel dish, so we are definitely excited about Unagi (60 Kenmare St) opening in Nolita. Also The Dead Rabbit (30 Water St) which has been consistently rated as one of the best bars in the United States has also just completed a big expansion so it should be a lot easier to get a seat!

Museum of Modern Art Expansion

The Museum of Modern Art (11 W 53rd St) will also complete their big expansion in 2019. Museum of Modern Art is already one of the must see museums in New York City and this expansion will offer 30% more gallery space.

Hudson Yards

Hudson Yards

The Hudson Yards is a huge development project on the west side of Manhattan and the first phase will be completed around March 2019. We are especially excited about all the fine dining options it would offer including restaurants from all star chefs like Thomas Keller, Michael Lomonaco, David Chang and Jose Andres.

Statue of Liberty Museum

Liberty Island

The Statue of Liberty Museum will be the biggest addition to Liberty Island since the Statue of Liberty herself. It will open in May 2019 and it will tell the story and history of this iconic landmark. One of the most interesting thing that will be on display is the Statue of Liberty’s original torch.

TWA Hotel at John F Kennedy International Airport

Finally the TWA Hotel in the historic TWA Flight Center airline terminal at John F Kennedy International Airport is probably the most anticipated hotel opening in 2019. It will be open for business in spring 2019. In addition to the hotel, there will be a museum on aviation history and a Jean-Georges restaurant, Paris Cafe.
