Bryant Park Ice Skating Rink

Bryant Park is just a short walk from all the Broadway theaters and there is so much to do here! In the summer, you can play board games by the carousel, challenge someone in ping pong, check out the art cart or just relax on the lawn. In the winter, you have the holiday shops and the only free ice skating rink in New York City.

Behind Bryant Park, is the main branch of the New York Public Library, the Stephen A Schwarzman Building. It is honestly more like a museum. There are tons of art and even fascinating exhibits throughout this historic building. Plus you have to check out the Rose Main Reading Room which is a landmark in itself and it is also where the Ghostbusters movie was filmed!

Hudson Yards
The Vessel Hudson YardsP.C.: yelp, Katie D.

On the West Side, the Hudson Yards is also within walking distance from all the Broadway theaters. There are a bunch of interesting shopping and dining options here. You can also check out the Vessel and walk along the High Line, both offer great views of New York City.

Museum of Modern Art
Museum of Modern ArtP.C.: yelp, Mira S.

New York City is renowned for its world class museums and the Museum of Modern Art aka MOMA (11 W 53rd St) is nearby. It’s huge and is now open again after its latest expansion. You just never know what you will stumble upon.

Shop at Rockefeller Center and Fifth Avenue
Rockefeller Christmas Tree

Rockefeller Center and Fifth Avenue are both known for its shopping! There is something for everyone. During the holidays, the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree is on display and you can go ice skating in their world famous rink. The shops on Fifth Avenue will also have their famous holiday windows on view. It will definitely put you in the festive mood!
