Join us for A Taste of Mulberry Street, an Italian NYC food tour. On this tour you will enjoy 3 courses and explore the areas known as Little Italy and Nolita. You will taste the old and new merging together with every dish on this food tour as you enjoy a hearty Italian feast from three popular restaurants. Start the tour by sinking your teeth into some of the best pizza in New York City. The tasty sauce, the unique toppings, the unbelievable crust… all amazing! From there you will taste delicious handmade pasta from a new family owned restaurant creating a huge buzz in the foodie world. You will be able to see the fresh pasta being made as you enter the restaurant! Trust us; you will want to ask for the recipes when you are done feasting here. To ensure that this is truly an Italian feast, we will be offering a selection of Italian wines as no Italian feast is complete without some vino. Both tastings will have a wine pairing to really seal the deal (beer or soft drink substitutions are available). But we know what you are thinking. What about dessert? We can only end the tour with some of the best pastries in the neighborhood from a world famous and Food Network™ approved bakery.
A Taste of Mulberry Street is perfect for a girl’s night out, a team building experience or perhaps a fun thing to do before a Broadway Show. There are only a few blocks of walking on this tour so sit back, relax, socialize and we’ll take care of everything!
Famous NYC pizza (two versions) with unique toppings and sauces, not to mention an amazing crust
Fresh pasta (two versions) with robust and savory sauces
A Food Network™ approved Italian pastry paired with coffee or tea or espresso
On our Chinatown and Little Italy Food Fest tour, we walk no more than ½ a mile, and at a moderate pace. During the three hours, there are many standing breaks, so we aren’t always walking. There are a few opportunities to sit throughout the tour.
There is minimal walking for the A Taste of Mulberry Street tour. All tastings are seated on this tour.
There are seven tastings on our Chinatown and Little Italy Food Fest and three hearty tastings on our A Taste of Mulberry Street tour. Both tours are considered a meal. We do encourage a light breakfast or lunch before the tour, as the tour is not intended to replace two meals. Most participants leave our tours feeling comfortably full.
Ahoy New York Tours & Tasting does its best to accommodate any dietary restrictions and allergies. Please alert us upon booking your tour. If you prefer you may also reach us at 518-332-4386.
The tours are held in rain, snow or shine. We ask that you make sure to check the weather on the day of your tour and dress appropriately (bring an umbrella if necessary). On days of inclement weather, we will do our best to use indoor space as much as possible. A Taste of Mulberry Street tour has the least outdoor time and may be a good option during inclement weather.
While we offer reduced tickets for children, our tours are mainly for a mature audience in that we taste ethnic cuisine and dive deeply into history and culture. Sometimes we find that children of a young age may become easily disengaged. Although we are a family-friendly tour company, please take care in knowing if your child will enjoy the experience prior to booking. We find that children 10 years old and older enjoy our Chinatown and Little Italy Food Fest tour. In regards to our A Taste of Mulberry Street tour we suggest ages 15 and up. If you have questions about bringing young children, please feel free to contact us.
