This is the absolute best thing I've ever done in the half dozen or so times I've visited NY. It's not just being able to skip the line at well known establishments to sample things with the tour......It's the amount of history and knowledge our guide was able to give us.....it's not just food, it's how NY and food work together. The tour group is kept small and you really feel more like an experienced distant friend is giving you a secret tour of her city. Since the virus has stopped my traveling for little while, I absolutely had to order Ahoy's special meal kit. While it's hard to get good Italian in Memphis, TN, my family and I really enjoyed the pasta kit we got and had fun following the instructions. However, it's really difficult to not just eat all the cheese alone instead of cooking with it. While it wasn't the same as being in Little Italy, we enjoyed hte kit and enjoyed remembering what we loved about the the food tour. If you are in NYC, take this tour. Even if you aren't a tourist. It's different from anything else you'll do there

have loved ahoy's work the past few years. my friend and I took a food tour, and our guide Liz was knwowledgeable, friendly, and we loved all the samples throughout. since quarantine started, I picked up one of their food packs (italian dinner). my family and I loved the quality of the ingredients. looking forward to picking up another one.
