Must See Places in New York City: The High Line
The High Line is a recent developed park that was converted from the abandoned elevated railroad tracks on the West Side of Manhattan. The High Line perfectly blends the historical industrial side of New York City with present day; you can see that every section of the park is cleverly planned. For example, you can still see and follow the old railroad tracks that run alongside the new park benches, lawns and gardens.
There are also a number of events and art installations that complement The High Line. From joining The Social Soup Experiment (hundreds gathering for a giant one pot meal) or viewing the unique water fountain, each visit to The High Line is an exciting experience.
Did we mention there are breathtaking views of the city with every step?
The High Line is a real gem in New York City and it is truly a must see place for locals and visitors alike.
