“Many people take these tours when visiting from another state or Country. My wife and I take these tours as ‘day dates’ and have had the opportunity to take a few food tours in NYC . This all being said….take it from a local….Ahoy Food Tours should be considered the Premier New York Food Tour…period. Liz, our guide was not only friendly and inviting, but also extremely knowledgeable of not only the locations we visited, but also added local tidbits of history that kept the entire tour interesting, fun and of course fulfilling in food. If you only have the chance to take one food tour in NYC…make it Ahoy!!!”

“Ahoy NY Tours and Tasting was just what we wanted-better than we expected! Great food tour plus all the historical information along the walking tour. I will look forward to another tour with them next time I am in New York. Our guide was so attentive to details & made sure we all had a memorable experience! Better book early!”

“My wife, our daughter (13yo) and I went on the Little Italy and Chinatown tour during our recent trip to NYC. It was a blast from start to finish. Our guide (Liz) was outstanding…our three hours went by in the blink of an eye. Learned a lot about both neighborhoods and the food was great. Would recommend this tour to anyone. Enjoy!”

Took my parents and a few of their friends on this tour with Alana and it was definitely a crowd pleaser! The tour was perfectly paced, included some interesting history, great recommendations for future visits, and lots of delicious tastings! Would highly recommend this tour.

“This tour was marvelous! It is a wonderful reminder of all the hidden gems we have in NYC, I’ve lived in NYC all my life but there is still so much more to learn about the big city. Alana was very knowledgeable about Little Italy and Chinatown. She gave us the history on historical sites in the community as well as how the food related to the culture. My finicky 13 year old enjoyed it!! I highly recommend this tour–the food was divine, and Alana provides great suggestions for some wonderful eateries.”

“We took the Little Italy and Chinatown tour with Liz – and it was hands down the best thing we did while in New York (and we were there for 4 full days- saw 6 shows, did 2 other tours, and other things)! Liz gave us an insider’s view to the area, lots of history (on the area, the groups of people who lived there, the food), and also took us to 7 different spots for yummy tastes. It was well organized and well executed. I’m SO glad we took this tour. If I had known how great it would have been, I would have gladly done more than 1 on our trip. Don’t miss this experience…it’s a great way to see the area, taste the food, and learn a little along the way!”
