Do your friends or family have a sweet tooth? Maybe you are looking for some top notch chocolates. The first places we go to are Jacques Torres Chocolate (350 Hudson St & Other Locations) and Li-Lac Chocolates (75 Greenwich Ave & Other Locations). They have everything from huge chocolate displays like snowmen and smaller treats like truffles and chocolate covered raisins. Looking for something a little different? Yummy Macarons
Who could resist some yummy macarons? Luckily there are a ton of great bakeries in New York City. Our favorite spot for macarons at the moment is Macaron Parlour (44 Hester St & 560 Columbus Ave) for all their creative flavors like Cheetos and s’mores. Other good spots include Mille-Feuille (552 LaGuardia Pl), Bouchon Bakery (1 Rockefeller Plaza & Other Locations) and Patisserie Fouet (15 E 13th St).

Ferrara’s Bakery (195 Grand St) has rows and rows of tempting treats. There is a little something for everyone with cannoli, lobster tails, cheesecake, torrone and more!

Nearby in Little Italy you can also get amazing mozzarella (maybe with some prosciutto) from Alleva Dairy (188 Grand St), top notch ravioli from Piemonte Ravioli (190 Grand St) and all sorts of Italian delicacies like cured meats and olives from Di Palo’s Fine Foods (200 Grand St).
Scrumptious Cookies
Finally we love cookies as gifts! Levain Bakery (167 W 74th St & Other Locations) is renown for their huge oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies and they are sure to be crowd pleasers. We also love the crazy flavors from Schmackary’s (362 West 45th St & 35 Cooper Square). They have holiday themed flavors like peppermint and eggnog and some unusual flavors like kitchen sink (which is basically a bit of everything) and maple bacon. Our favorite flavor though has to be funfetti!
