Where to Eat During NYC Restaurant Week, Winter 2018

David Burke Kitchen Mocha Mousse Bar

It is that time of year again! New York City Restaurant Week starts on January 22nd and will last until February 9th and this year has quite the diverse and eclectic mix of restaurants. Lunch is only $29 and dinner is $42. Here are some of our recommendations on where to eat during NYC Restaurant Week, winter 2018.

Augustine – 5 Beekman St

Augustine steak frites

P.C.: yelp, Stacey C.

Keith McNally’s latest project is Augustine, a new French restaurant in the newly renovated Beekman Hotel. Keith McNally is probably best known for restaurants like Balthazar, Minetta Tavern and Cherche Midi so we are very excited. Augustine has a fun NYC Restaurant Week menu that will change from week to week featuring classic French dishes like steak frites and tuna nicoise salad.

Obicà Mozzarella Bar Pizza e Cucina – 928 Broadway

Obica Cavatelli with Wild Boar Ragu

Obicà is a trendy Italian restaurant in the Flatiron district and you can try some of their signature mozzarella during NYC Restaurant Week. Also their cavatelli with wild boar ragu is a hearty meal that is perfect for the winter.

Charlie Palmer at The Knick – 6 Times Square

P.C.: Charlie Palmer at The Knick

Charlie Palmer at The Knick caught our attention with their duck egg crème brûlée on their menu. We also can’t wait to try their beef tartare and homemade tagliatelle.

Momofuku Nishi – 232 Eighth Ave

Momofuku Nishi Panna Cotta

P.C.: yelp, S L.

Momofuku Nishi is David Chang’s and chef Joshua Pinsky’s take on Italian cuisine and it is known for their fresh pasta dishes. The lumache pasta dish, sourdough focaccia and vanilla panna cotta are all must trys for us this year.

Indochine – 430 Lafayette St

Indochine Mango Salad

P.C.: Indochine

If you are looking for something a little different, Indochine is a French-Vietnamese fusion restaurant that has been a mainstay in NoHo for decades. NYC Restaurant Week is the perfect time to see why this restaurant is such a timeless classic.

Capital Grille – 120 Broadway & Other Locations

Capital Grille Steak

P.C.: The Capital Grille

Capital Grille is a classic New York City steakhouse with locations in Wall Street, Times Square and the Chrysler Building. It is no surprise that we highly recommend some of their classic steakhouse favorites like their dry aged sirloin and cheeseburger.

ONE Dine – One World Trade, 101st Fl

ONE Dine Chowder

P.C.: yelp, Robert R.

Finally, ONE Dine is the restaurant inside the One World Observatory and dining here is like dining on the top of the world. The views are just breathtaking. You can check it out during NYC Restaurant Week and try some of their comfort foods on the menu like the risotto, clam chowder and pappardelle with braised lamb. Best of all, there will be complimentary admission to the One World Observatory during NYC Restaurant Week with reservations to this restaurant.
