Few things in the world are more satisfying than a burger, hot off the grill. You don’t have to go to a fancy steakhouse for a good burger and with that in mind, here are our some of our favorite cheap eats spots and here are the best burgers in New York City for under $10.
Shake Shack – Madison Square Park & Other Locations

Nowadays you can find Shake Shack everywhere in New York City and it is a great thing because their burgers are amazing! All of their burgers are less than $10 and we usually stick with their signature ShackBurger or Shack Stack.
Corner Bistro – 331 W 4th St

Corner Bistro is renowned for their juicy burgers and their hamburger just makes the cut at $9.75. But it is well worth it and for only $1 more you can get their cheeseburger or for $3 more you can get it with both cheese and bacon!
Burger Joint – 119 W 56th St

Burger Joint is probably one of the worst kept secrets in the foodie world. Burger Joint is hidden in the Le Parker Meridien Hotel and their burgers have been the talk of the town for years now. One taste of their burgers and you can see why word got around so quickly. Best of all, their cheeseburgers are still under $10.
Genuine Roadside – 600 11th Ave

We were sad when Genuine Superette in Little Italy closed recently but there is still Genuine Roadside in the Gotham West Market. Both their stack burger and spicy smokehouse burger are under $10 and both are great value and just bursting with flavor.
Mikey’s Burger – 134 Ludlow St

If you looking for more unusual burgers with exciting toppings, you definitely should visit Mikey’s Burger. We highly recommend their BLT Burger (with Chinese style bacon) and their lamb burger.
Superiority Burger – 430 E 9th St

Last but certainly not least, Black Iron’s classic burgers are still one of the best deals in New York City. Their burger are well worth the trip and it also is the perfect late night dining spot.
