Maison Premiere is a beautiful restaurant in Williamsburg and it has top notch oysters. Be on the lookout for their happy hour. It is very popular but you can’t beat their oysters, priced at about a dollar.
The Lobster Place – 75 9th Ave
The Lobster Place in Chelsea Market always has a huge selection of super fresh oysters. You can buy them with the shell or have them shucked to enjoy right there. It is actually our favorite spot for oysters.
Cull & Pistol Oyster Bar – 75 9th Ave
If you are looking for a quiet sit down restaurant in Chelsea Market to enjoy your oysters, next door to the Lobster Place market is Cull & Pistol. It is run by the same team so you know that the oysters here will be just as delicious. It is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the Chelsea Market.

If you are craving oysters in the Penn Station or Herald Square area, The John Dory Oyster Bar is your best bet. It is just a short walk away and although it is a little pricier than some of the other options on this list, it is every seafood lovers’ dream.

On the other hand, Fish is a small no- frills place but when it comes to oysters, you can get the best deals here. They also have an excellent menu, full of tempting seafood dishes like king crab legs, lobster rolls, catfish sandwiches and more.

We had some of the freshest, most succulent oysters here at the Mermaid Inn. We really have learned a lot of about oysters here!

Finally Lure Fishbar is a trendy restaurant in SoHo and they have an excellent raw bar. Blue points, kumanotos, beau soleils… we will take one of each!
