Dominique Ansel Bakery – 189 Spring St
Dominque Ansel is probably best known for his cronuts and don’t be surprised if you see people waiting in line for them even before the bakery opens. The cronut is a cross between a croissant and a doughnut. It is light, flaky and absolutely delicious. His cronuts spawned a number of copycats but nothing beats the original.

Doughnut Plant – 379 Grand St & Other Locations
Last but not least, Doughnut Plant is still our favorite spot for doughnuts. They have it all on their menu, yeast doughnuts, cake doughnuts and filled doughnuts.
